LOB Newsletter 57.docx

It was lovely to hear of the different events across the county to celebrate World Thinking Day.  I was invited by Rebecca P of Ilford North District to spend an evening with the District Rainbows, Brownies, Guides and Rangers as they celebrated 100 years of World Thinking Day together. Rebecca organised the event as part of her Queen’s Guide award. It was a great evening.

Turning now to subscription payments I wish to thank those units that have already paid their invoices via card or cheque.  We still have a long way to go but I am hopeful that we will have all unit invoices paid by Friday 27th March 2026.  Leaders if you have a problem with payment, please contact you District/Division commissioner as soon as possible.

I look forward to seeing you over the coming months at the various events being organised.  Thank you for all you are doing for Girlguiding and your girls.

Girls take what they do in guiding with them as they grow up. Everything from working in a team, to taking the lead, to speaking out on issues they care about. It helps them develop the skills and confidence to become the young women they want to be. ’
