LOB Bulletin 53 16th March 2025

It was lovely meeting some of the county’s young leaders at their training the other weekend.  The girls shared ideas and planned activities that they could use with their units.  My thanks to Caroline Rouse for taking the session.  We still have several young leaders with no email address on Go and several who have not completed the 14to 17yr safe space training which can be completed through the learning platform, or we have a face-to-face training on 11th April at Chigwell (this is in the Easter holidays)

I am looking forward to celebrating the achievements of our young members at the Jack Petchey awards evening tomorrow night.  This is one of the events that gives me the opportunity to say well done and thank you.

Lastly, I would urge unit leaders that have not paid their subscription payment to remember it needs to be received by 28th March.  There are currently 38 units with outstanding payments. Thank you to those that have already paid.

Congratulations

Girls take what they do in guiding with them as they grow up. Everything from working in a team, to taking the lead, to speaking out on issues they care about. It helps them develop the skills and confidence to become the young women they want to be. ’
