LOB Bulletin 50 17th November 2024

The weather is starting to get cooler but the girl’s enthusiasm to have fun does not change.   Many unit meetings have consisted of a fundraising event for Chigwell Row campsite and activity centre.  A mass thankyou to those leaders and girls that have held an event and sent in the money raised.  I know that some units are planning events this month I look forward to hearing about the event in due course.

The Friends barn dance was an evening of laughter and friendship.  Thanks goes to Yvonne, Tony and team that decorated the hall and provided the hot refreshments.

Thank you to our trainers that ran sessions at the county training day.  We had a training specifically for young leader and hope to run more young leader training sessions in 2025.

Festive Mingle event

Saturday 14th December 2024

Join us for a festive theme day, full of activities and a wander around London. This event will be run by the LoB Peer Education Team and will include some activities from our safe the world topic. It will also be a chance for you to meet peers from within the county and earn yourself a badge!

Time: 11am-5pm

Price: £5 (please ensure money is available on Oyster card to travel in and around London)

The friend’s committee is busy working behind the scenes to organise events for 2025.  They would like to have a member from each division on the committee so information can be passed on to members within in their division.
