A group of 23 people consisting of members of Ilford Trefoil guild, their husbands and friends from other Trefoil Guilds spent an enjoyable holiday at Littlecote House, a Warners, where they swam, used the gym, walked, took part in Quizes, played table tennis, putting, croquet, laser pistol shooting and dancing. Some of the group joined coach trips around the Wiltshire countryside and a horse drawn barge ride. As well as eating and drinking the evenings included listening to the entertainment which was provided and playing card games.

Girls take what they do in guiding with them as they grow up. Everything from working in a team, to taking the lead, to speaking out on issues they care about. It helps them develop the skills and confidence to become the young women they want to be. ’
